-About Our Pastor-
Dr. T. Anthony Thompson is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Love Fellowship Christian Center, Inc. located in Abingdon/Belcamp, MD. He is a man with integrity and a heart for the people, who is COMPELLING, ANOINTED, GOD-CENTERED and a global VISIONARY. Pastor Thompson's passion and mandate for this season is to empower a generation to "Build God's Kingdom Through Love"...one person at a time. Pastor "T", as he is affectionately called, is determined to help every person he encounters to break free from the chains of bondage. Thus, allowing them to move forward in the manifestation of Gods victorious promises and ultimately reach their God
ordained Purpose and Destiny. As the grandson of the Late Rev. M.C Phillips, the former pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Havre de Grace Maryland, Pastor Thompson is a 3rd generation preacher. Pastor Thompson began his ministry in Atlanta (GA) at Ebenezer Baptist Church where his mother, the late Bernice Phillips Thompson, was the church Administrator. He later worked in Atlanta with young people at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. However, it wasn't until he moved to Connecticut that he answered the true calling on his life and was ordained and served alongside his lovely wife Jewell. Pastor Thompson and his family dedicated their lives to the youth ministry for 10 years as they ministered to the young people at Ebenezer Temple in Hartford, Connecticut. The last four of those years Pastor Thompson served as the Youth Pastor. Similar to God's call to Abram in Genesis 12:l (NLT) "Leave your country, your relatives, and your father's house, and go to a place I will show you", the Lord instructed Pastor Thompson to move in July 2003. One year later, in August 2004, the Lord made provision for his family to relocate to Harford County, MD.
Believing in the vision that God gave him that there would be a church of “KINGDOM BUILDERS”, on Oct 8, 2006 Love Fellowship Christian Center, Inc. opened its doors. Since October 8, 2006, with God's direction and the help of the LFCC leadership and faithful LFCC family, the church has grown spiritually and numerically. LFCC currently has approximately 200+ members and has acquired 8 acres of land to build a state-of-the-art facility to accommodate this rapidly growing ministry. Several life-altering ministries have been implemented in the past 16 years, and we are looking for God to continue to enlarge our territory.
