Y.E.S. MentorshipMission:
To help children in the Harford County Region reach their destiny through
one-to-one relationships with caring mentors focused on enhancing academic achievement, raising self-esteem, empowering youth toward self-sufficiency, and providing access to a global community.
Vision: Our vision is to mentor, educate, embrace, and empower young people to become accountable and compassionate, ultimately inspiring them to achieve their goals to reach their purpose and destiny.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Through the Y.E.S. Mentoring program, our ultimate goal is to create equal access which involves leveling the playing field through conflict resolution, self esteem and access to a whole new world by empowering our youth through educational, entrepreneurial, financial, and social skills learning environment.
“Pillars of Success”
1. H.O.Y.A.S. (Helping Our Youth Achieve Success) directly relates to providing mentees with homework assistance, allowing them to DREAM BIG and competes for opportunities in Math, Science and Technology, helping them to realize that a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
2. Common Ground provides Mentees with equal access that levels the playing field and introduces various components that make up our global economy. Mentees receive an incredible opportunity to be exposed to interactive presentations from affluent, successful people in the world of academia, business, sports, arts and entertainment.
3. Higher Dimensions allows our Mentees an avenue toward reaching their Purpose, Destiny and ultimately achieving success in every aspect of life. The mentees will learn the importance of Integrity, Respect, Honor and how to live according to the plan of GOD.
“Vision is not seeing things the way they are, but as they will be.”
